Surv. Emmanuel Ampiaw has over 25 years of diverse professional experience in both the public and private sectors. With a background spanning valuation, investment appraisal, property management, land title documentation, fixed asset register preparation/due diligence, and training aspiring professionals, He has a rich experience in the real estate industry.
Having spent over 8 years with the Land Valuation Board and ascending to the role of Regional Valuer in the Volta Region of Ghana, Emmanuel has a robust foundation in training young technical and professional staff. His journey continued with Valuation and Investment Associates (VIA), Accra, where he served as an Associate Consultant Valuer until 2007. Here, he managed all aspects of land and property documentation, registration, valuation, and management, overseeing acquisitions for corporate clients.
His project management experience includes handling the inventory of fixed assets for Ho Polytechnic and providing consultancy support for Kingdom Books & Stationery Ltd., Accra. He has contributed to institutional valuations for divestiture, sale, mortgage, and share floatation. He holds a B.Sc. in Land Economy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and is a Chartered Professional Surveyor.
In the Land Administration Project (LAP) with VIA, he served as a team leader in the Inventory of State Acquired & Occupied Lands in the Birim South District Component 1.3 (Lot 4), assessing compensation. In 2008, he founded the corporate Real Estate Valuation Consultancy Firm, “Property Appraisal & Investment Consult Ltd,” which gained recognition as a Training and Practicing Firm on 18th February 2010. Emmanuel remains the Principal Partner & Managing Consultant of the firm to date.
He is a member of Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS), Federation of International Surveyors, African Real Estate Society (AfRES). He is also an active member of Rotary Club and served as president for Ho (2000) and Tema-Sakumono (2013 & 2018).
